Our client, one of the UK's largest and most successful Surface & Highways Companies, is seeking a Surfacing Site Supervisor to work on a range of surfacing projects including Highways, Retail, Rail, Aviation, Commercial, and Defence.
The Surfacing Site Supervisor will implement and promote the company's health and safety policies, supervise surfacing works, and assist the Contracts Manager in managing and delivering projects. The supervisor will ensure projects adhere to safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements, maintaining client satisfaction. Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role within Highways or surfacing, and hold a valid NRSWA and SMSTS card.

- Produce forward programmes, including material, labour, and plant requirements
- Monitor work progress and advise on schedule movements
- Conduct site inspections and safety tours
- Complete L, P & M returns
- Raise NCRs with supporting information
- Optimize resource utilization
- Collaborate with commercial and QS teams to maximize contract value
- Ensure experience in surfacing and asphalt works
- Maintain relevant certifications (CSCS, SMSTS)
- Perform site measurements
- Understand CDM regulations and standards
- Manage costs and identify potential value streams
- Understand operational procedures and program planning
