Do you have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills? Want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma, an incurable blood cancer, to live longer and better lives?
Myeloma UK is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join our Fundraising Team on a temporary basis. You will have strong communication and administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team. You will be willing to be flexible and prioritise your workload effectively.
About the roleThe post holder will be the first point of contact for enquiries that come in by post, email and phone, in particular responding to in memory giving and gift in will enquiries sensitively.
You will be responsible for preparing thank you and acknowledgement letters, emails and welcome packs for new regular givers and lottery players on a daily basis. In addition, you will be adding and maintaining accurate records on the database and on various fundraising platforms.
You will also be co-ordinating, mailing and recording packs and supporter materials, providing support to the wider fundraising team as required.
