I am a teenager who enjoys playing on my iPad and game consoles with my brothers. I also enjoy spending time with my carers. I have a lot of complex health issues for which I need support to help me maintain a healthy lifestyle, including a PEG - J tube and non invasive ventilation to support my breathing. I can communicate well and have good awareness of my complex needs and the support that I require. It is important to me to build good relationships with my PA's to ensure that I feel comfortable knowing you will be there to care for me.
Responsibilities- Assist with all aspects of personal care and administer medications.
- Provide moving and handling support, including transfers and regular repositioning.
- Support ventilation needs and suctioning as and when required.
- Work on a 5 hour shift per day, every other weekend on a two week rota:
- Week 1 - Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Applicants must be female to support personal care needs.
- 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro rata for part time positions).
