This is a role as a Support Worker at Elysium Healthcare's The Woodmill facility in Cullompton, Devon. The job involves providing care and support to people with mental health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help them along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. The work environment can be challenging at times, but it is highly rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement.
Responsibilities- Join an inclusive and supportive team that works together to provide care to people with a range of mental health conditions.
- Conduct ward rounds, analyse behaviours and adapt care accordingly.
- Update patient records and provide overall care and support, including assistance with personal hygiene.
- Maintain a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance in a challenging environment.
- Support the development of a recovery pathway that leads patients to a valued and fulfilled life.
- Experience in a Forensic or Acute Mental Health service environment is essential.
- Valid DBS check required.
- Annual salary of £25,057.50.
