We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our supported living service for people with learning disabilities, located in Shoeburyness, Essex. Basic salary £25,417.60 per year, with estimated earnings of £27,494 - £29,725 per year including sleep ins. Our client does not offer sponsorship.
Candidates must live within a half hour commute to Shoeburyness and be available for full time 40 hours per week, including day, weekend and sleep in shifts. Sleep in shifts are paid at £5.00 per hour. Overtime is available.
Shift patterns- Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:00 (Mon Sun)
- Late Shift: 15:00 - 23:00 (Mon Sun)
- Sleep In: 23:00 - 07:00 (Mon Sun)

- At least one year of experience as a support worker (one year desirable).
- Required to register with the DBS update service if a DBS check is required.
Responsibilities- Provide care according to best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies, procedures and agreed standards under the service management.
- Support and enable adults to maintain skills and personal interests while delivering person centred care.
- Support adults to maintain their tenancy.
- Maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as required to maintain and progress knowledge.
