This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working as a Bank Support Worker at a Barchester independent mental health hospital. You'll use your intuition and empathy to help patients get the most out of life, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours.
Main duties of the jobAs a Support Worker, you'll strive to help create a safe environment in which patients can live as independently as possible. You should be naturally warm-hearted, yet resilient, and have a genuine interest in the lives of our patients. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills are much more important than any previous experience, as full training and development opportunities are provided.

As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.

Qualifications- No specific qualifications are required, as full training will be provided. However, you should have a genuine interest in supporting people with mental health challenges and a positive, resilient attitude.
