Support Services Coordinator - 29 hours

The role covers the 4 units in the Merseyside Cluster. Travel to all units is required; mileage is paid.

BPAS has an exciting opportunity for a Support Services Coordinator to join our team at the Merseyside Cluster. This is a part time, permanent role working 29 hours per week across Monday to Friday. Further details on shift pattern, locations and salary can be found below.

As a Support Services Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth and effective running of non clinical services within the unit. You will lead a multi disciplinary team delivering domestic, catering and facilities services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well maintained environment for both clients and staff.

Main duties of the job
  • Line manage a team delivering domestic, catering and facilities services, ensuring high standards of performance and quality.
  • Oversee day to day administrative processes, including staff attendance records and general office systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchasing to maintain continuity of services.
  • Coordinate facilities management, including maintenance, contractors, and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including risk assessments, COSHH, and fire safety procedures.
  • Support regulatory inspections and maintain appropriate documentation and records.
  • Develop and improve administrative systems to support the efficient running of the unit.
About You

You will be an organised and proactive individual with experience in administration and team leadership, ideally within a care or regulated environment. You will be confident managing competing priorities and committed to maintaining high standards across a range of support services.

  • Experience in an administrative role with responsibility for coordinating services and resources.
  • Experience of managing or supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of facilities management and health and safety requirements.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A practical, problem solving approach and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
  • English and Maths qualification either GCSE A to C or Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE 4 or NVQ level 2.
  • Food hygiene certificate.
  • Health and Safety training.
