We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive group of schools within the same trust in Northampton, seeking a dedicated and adaptable Supply Teacher to provide day-to-day cover across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
This role involves covering staff absence, sickness, and training courses across schools that are located close to one another and collaborate closely on planning, assessment, and community initiatives. It offers the flexibility of supply teaching while providing the consistency and familiarity of working within a single trust, with shared schemes of work, policies, and routines.
The RoleAs a Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Follow school policies and established classroom routines
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school staff
- Adapt confidently to different classes and year groups
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has a valid DBS certificate or is willing to obtain one
- Has a caring, positive, and approachable attitude
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Creates a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Is passionate about supporting children's education and development
- Can adapt quickly and confidently to new classroom settings
