Supply Teacher

Supply Secondary Teacher (General Cover) Flexible Work Competitive Daily Rates Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities Melksham & Surrounding Areas Thrive Education is currently recruiting for adaptable, confident and enthusiastic Supply Secondary Teachers to work on a general cover basis across a range of supportive and well-established secondary schools in and around Melksham.

With increasing demand for flexible staffing solutions, we are seeking strong classroom practitioners who can step into a variety of subjects and maintain high standards of learning and behaviour.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers looking for flexibility, as well as ECTs keen to broaden their experience across different school settings.

The Role

• Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Maintain positive behaviour management in line with school policies
• Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
• Adapt quickly to different departments and school environments
• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff at the end of each day
• Assignments can range from day-to-day cover to short-term or longer-term placements

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Have recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools
• Are confident delivering general cover across a range of subjects
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Are professional, reliable and adaptable
