What you will be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated leader to join the Trent XWB Commercial Aviation Value Stream team as a Supply Chain Projects Manager.
With over 600 aircraft in service and a growing orderbook of 1300 aircraft, the Trent XWB Value Stream covers the full scope of activity for both engines in service and development. This provides a unique opportunity to develop business breadth and work with external customers as we work towards Trent XWB-84 EP entry into service.
This position, reporting to the Senior Vice President - Fleet Management, will be the Value Stream lead for activity related to supply chain rate improvement and planning and control activities related to the introduction of new engine variants. Working as an interface with Procurement, Manufacturing, Assembly & Test, Portfolio Planning, Value Stream and Airframer this role will this is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to broaden their experience and enhance their business acumen.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will consolidate the new parts supply chain related activities which support new product introduction and rate change, in addition you will:
- Manage hazards and risks associated with the supply chain planning and control elements of the project WBS.
- Support the delivery of supply chain improvements to meet our customer commitments, operational plan and financial commitment.
- Support external customer and Product Introduction & Lifecycle Management (PILM) assurance reviews to manage engine variants through lifecycle.
- Develop the Trent XWB supply chain maps, determine the medium term rate change for commodities and identify critical supply chain risks.
- Establish the master programme and supporting plans that define Trent XWB supply chain planning & control milestones, resource, and budgets.

- Degree or APICs/ ASCM qualified or relevant Planning & Control/ Supply Chain Management experience desirable.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and apply logical thinking to support creation of recommendations to achieve business goals.
- Strong problem resolution, data manipulation & analysis skills combined with proficiency in excel.
- Personal drive and motivation to reconcile different business objectives through excellent collaboration, and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate succinctly & influence senior stakeholder groups.
