# Job Title: # Supply Chain Planner# Summary: The Supply Chain Planner position is accountable for demand planning, raw materials and packaging materials management, inventory management, tolling and providing back-up to Abingdon site Production Planner within supply chain. The role will utilize best practices, procedures and tools to optimize service, inventory and costs per business needs. Please note that this role requires on-site presence 5 days per week, Monday through Friday# Responsibilities Include: Supply Chain Planning Attend production meetings, and assist the Production Planner where necessary to address daily and short-term scheduling issues Accountable for schedule in accordance with inventory targets, tolling & internal service requirements, within operational limitations Monitor Future On-time, In Full (FOTIF) and create/execute plans in order to hit key OTIF KPI target Monitor Production On-time, In Full (POTIF) and suggest improvements to improve efficiencies Plan material transfers, cross-pole and inter-plant requirements, and communicate with key stakeholders Plan and execute raw material requirements from external suppliers based on an agreed schedule Control exception messages to continuously improve the schedule Provide holiday and absence cover for the Abingdon site Production Planner using the MIMI production planning tool Responsible for daily checking of demand signals to control inventory volumes, update SAP, and execute requirements to avoid late, early/excess inventory, and contribute to meeting site inventory targets Control key raw materials inventory and communicate with key stakeholders Propose updated safety stock requirements based on demand, supply, and capacity Compliance Work safely, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures Support and comply with quality/safety management system and regulatory compliance Others Continuous optimization of existing schedule to improve service for both external and internal customers Provide on-time service to meet both external and internal requirements Work closely with the production planner and operations team to optimize production plan Track capacity of assets and tolling Manage and maintain master data# Qualifications: The following are required for the role Minimum 2 years relevant experience in production planning, inventory management, or similar positions Have knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning, Material Requirements Planning, and scheduling Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, or other ERP system Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, international, multicultural team environment Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English Possess Momentive core values and competencies of strategic focus/direction, trust/teamwork, personal leadership, and achieving business results Demonstrate strong organization skills, committed with passion, detail-oriented with continuous improvement and customer mindset The following are preferred f or the role Bachelor's degree in supply chain-related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience# What We Offer: At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
