Supply Chain Manager, Amazon Private Brands

Do you want to lead strategic investment area for Amazon? The Amazon Private Brands team is seeking an experienced Sr. Supply Chain Manager to drive operational excellence and innovation across our JP Hardlines and Softlines Private Brands portfolio, managing products through Private Brands product lifecycle - from launch planning to end-of-life strategies. We are looking for a strategic candidate with deep supply chain expertise to manage and optimize our complex global supply network, focusing on availability, inventory health and speed. This role offers unique opportunities to work with diverse global teams across multiple regions (NA/EU/CN/JP) and experience the entire product journey. This role interacts closely with NA/EU Supply Chain Teams in Amazon Private Brands, the technology teams, quality, compliance, and sourcing business partners across Amazon, as well as JP Operations team. Key job responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives to optimize our supply chain network, including new facility adoption (i.e.,IXD) and system enhancement projects
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams worldwide, including Product Development, Sourcing, Operations, and Technology teams
- Collaborate with global stakeholders on new product launches, ordering, and supply chain innovations
- Develop and execute strategies to improve key metrics including Out of Stock (OOS), inventory health (Turn, OIH) and speed (GVS/LIS)
- Drive operational improvements across both Hardlines and Softlines Private Brands
Key job responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for JP Private Brands
- Lead inventory management and availability optimization across multiple categories
- Drive root cause analysis and systematic solutions for operational challenges
- Manage transition projects including sourcing changes and new facility adoption
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Partner with global teams on new supply chain technologies and processes
- 3+ years of with Excel experience
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
