As the Supply Chain Manager, you will have overallresponsibility for the supply chain function, including control of planning, operationalbuying and logistics across Cardrew and Falmouth.
You will also work in close collaboration with the central GlobalSupply Chain team to ensure alignment with process standardisation.
Reporting to the General Manager, the main remit for this roleis to lead the Supply Chain activities of the business, ensuring operationalneeds are met, considering the price, quality and delivery whilst ensuringcontinuity of supply and best practice.
Lead, enhance and develop all aspects of the two manufacturingunits supply chain performance; providing strategic insight to the seniorleadership team and other key stakeholders as required.

Key Accountabilities include:
- You will develop SMART objectives for and with teamcolleagues and departments to aid business performance and the ability toconsistently meet customer demands, measuring achievement of performancetargets, whilst utilising and promoting high levels of engagement with SelfDirected Teams across your areas of responsibility.
- Leadthe monthly Site S&OP process, ensuring alignment of Demand, Supply,Inventory, Capacity and Financial plans with Sales, Finance and StrategicBusiness Development. Develop a robust supply plan that supports customerdemand and the Global Supply Chain strategy.
- Be accountable forachieving agreed OTTC and Finished Goods inventory targets. Where performancefalls below agreed thresholds, develop and execute recovery plans, providingregular progress updates through the Global Supply Chain governance process.
- Be responsible for ensuring a positivesafety culture in areas of responsibility, ensuring that the health, safety andwellbeing of all personnel is the number one priority.
- Collaborate with theHead of Global Supply Chain to implement and sustain global planning standards,inventory policies, KPI governance and continuous improvement initiatives.Actively contribute to cross-site standardisation and the development of a resilientend-to-end Supply Chain network.
- You will build effective relationships withinernal and external customers and suppliers, overseeing and ensuring bestpractice is maintained throughout the supply chain
- You will lead and improve supplierperformance in terms of Service Level, Lead Time, cost, stock level, etc, andbe responsible for annual stock counts during the financial year
- You will ensure through effective planningthat the right levels of inventory are established, maintained, and flexed tomeet current and future operational/project needs
- You will develop the materials, stockcontrol and handling processes to gain improvements in efficiency and control
- Lead the internal movement ofmaterials and finished goods, developing logistics capabilities to supportcontinued growth and development
- You will lead and deliver D365 FO (ERP)implementation and roll out
- Ensure that supply chain processesmeet legal requirements and standards and are compliant with internal policiesincluding Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and the Group Management Code
- Champion and have oversight in NewProduct Development Projects to ensure viable delivery of supply chain for newmaterials
- Drive environmental and sustainability improvements;identify how Supply Chain will contribute to the success of the One Planetstrategy, developing an implementation plan to ensure its achievement.
Skills/Experience
- You have demonstrable experiencing working as a Senior SupplyChain Manager or equivalent (e.g. Purchasing/Sourcing Manager & Planning)
- You will have significant experience in maintainingeffective and productive relationships with external suppliers
- You will have robust commercial and financial awarenesswith strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- You will be analytical and have the ability to interpretdata to provide strategic and tactical solutions.
- You will be a positive, self-managing and highlymotivated individual who thrives in a fast paced, innovative environment with aflexible and proactive nature
- You will be a strong problem-solver who is able toidentify and deliver priorities in a decisive manner
- You will have demonstrable experience in managing andleading a team of people to achieve shared objectives
- You will be CIPS qualified to a minimum of level 5 orhold equivalent experience
