Supply Chain Manager

Successful FMCG retail business require a Supply Chain Manager. Applicants need previous experience in; supply chain management, senior supply chain analysis, demand planning or inventory management within a retail, wholesale or FMCG business.
The Supply Chain Manager will manage the end-to-end flow of product from manufacturers/factories into UK warehouses and distribution centres encompassing; purchasing, planning, forecasting and logistics. The role would suit a proactive and driven individual with deep experience in supply chain to take ownership of product/range availability.
Specific duties of the Supply Chain Manager include:
- Manage stock availability
- Forecasting demand monthly and planning for promotional events
- Identifying and resolving issues that affect stock efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Leading range changes and supporting new product launches
- Contribute to success of assigned ranges and products
- Liaison with 3PL and logistics services partners
Supply Chain Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience working in a fast paced; FMCG, retail, wholesale or consumer product manufacturing environment
- Skilled in demand planning, forecasting and supply chain analysis activities
- Comfortable dealing with a high number of SKUs; 100+
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Experience in the use of supply chain planning and demand planning tools/software
