Job Title: Supply Chain Lead - Sub-Tier Risk Management
Location: Any Maritime and Land office across the UK - Portsmouth, Glascoed, Edinburgh, Radway Green etc We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:- Lead the design, deployment and ongoing management of sub-tier mapping methodology within the Business
- Collaborate with Sector & Group to share best practice and lessons learnt
- Train and support the Supply Chain teams on sub-tier process, tools and implementation
- Work with commercial and project teams to understand contractual flow downs related to sub-tier mapping & work with project teams & BW Team
- Engage with suppliers to promote the benefits of sub-tier mapping and ensure requirements are clearly understood and data submission is accurate and meaningful
- Interrogate datasets to assess potential risk impacts our sub-tier capability to deliver
- Prepare and present updates on sub-tier progress, risk exposure and trends
- Ability to deputise for the Risk and Performance manager when required
- Have a good understanding of the Supply Chain End to End process, including key areas such as supplier management , procurement delivery, supplier development & risk management
- A good understanding of commercial agreements and the associated flow-down terms that impact supply chain
- Experience in interpreting data to drive informed decision making
- Good understanding of external environment and relevant market intelligence
- Have demonstrated critical thinking and analysis skills in either a Supply Chain or relatable environment or roles
- Experience of working within a complex Supply Chain environment
