Job Title: Supply Chain Lead - Sub-Tier Risk Management

Location: Any Maritime and Land office across the UK - Portsmouth, Glascoed, Edinburgh, Radway Green etc We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the design, deployment and ongoing management of sub-tier mapping methodology within the Business
• Collaborate with Sector & Group to share best practice and lessons learnt
• Train and support the Supply Chain teams on sub-tier process, tools and implementation
• Work with commercial and project teams to understand contractual flow downs related to sub-tier mapping & work with project teams & BW Team
• Engage with suppliers to promote the benefits of sub-tier mapping and ensure requirements are clearly understood and data submission is accurate and meaningful
• Interrogate datasets to assess potential risk impacts our sub-tier capability to deliver
• Prepare and present updates on sub-tier progress, risk exposure and trends
• Ability to deputise for the Risk and Performance manager when required

Your skills and experiences:

• Have a good understanding of the Supply Chain End to End process, including key areas such as supplier management , procurement delivery, supplier development & risk management
• A good understanding of commercial agreements and the associated flow-down terms that impact supply chain
• Experience in interpreting data to drive informed decision making
• Good understanding of external environment and relevant market intelligence
• Have demonstrated critical thinking and analysis skills in either a Supply Chain or relatable environment or roles
• Experience of working within a complex Supply Chain environment

The Functional Excellence team enables the supply chain 300+ employees to do their jobs. Encompassing Governance, Compliance, Risk Management , People Capability, Tools/IT & Sustainability. Having an overarching perspective across the business and representing the business unit in sector and group environments to encourage sharing best practise and continuous improvement.
