On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Wicklow Town.
ROLE OVERVIEWSupply Chain Co ordinator will be responsible for inventory management, order processing, coordinating with suppliers, managing relationship with suppliers and tracking shipments to ensure the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
Key skills for this role include strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, computer proficiency (especially in MS Office and ERP systems), and excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities also involve data analysis, report preparation, and resolving supply chain issues, often working closely with various internal and external stakeholders. They will be responsible for keeping records of inbound and outbound goods for audits by Revenue. They will work alongside the Group Supply Chain Director and Logistics Manager in their tasks and helping existing purchasing assistants with their responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, conducting physical counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Order Processing: Processing orders, managing the cycle of order fulfilment, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Logistics Coordination: Tracking shipments, coordinating with logistics providers, and ensuring timely deliveries to meet production schedules.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Relations: Liaising with suppliers and internal teams (production, logistics, quality) to resolve discrepancies and issues.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Assisting in preparing operational reports, analysing supply chain data, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Documentation: Ensuring records are kept up to date and recorded for Revenue audits of inward processing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- A bachelor's degree in a related field (like logistics or business) is often preferred.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and stay organised in a fast paced environment.
