Supply Chain Coordinator

Full-time | Office-based | Nottinghamshire

We're looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a growing UK business supplying major retailers with trade and DIY products.

This is a newly created role and a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and keen to build experience in supply chain and operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting demand planning and basic forecasting
  • Raising and tracking purchase orders with suppliers
  • Monitoring shipments, deliveries, and containers
  • Communicating with suppliers about orders and timelines
  • Helping improve and document supply chain processes
  • Providing general supply chain and admin support

This is a busy role where you'll be trusted to get stuck in and take ownership.

What we're looking for

  • Strong administration or operations experience
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, happy to ask questions
  • Proactive, hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

You don't need direct supply chain experience - we're open to:

  • Graduates with admin-heavy experience
  • Career changers from retail, buying, wholesale, or logistics
  • Experienced administrators interested in supply chain

Training will be provided.

Working pattern

  • Office-based, 5 days per week
  • Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm
  • Friday: early finish around 4pm
  • Parking available and good public transport links
