You will take ownership of procurement activities, production scheduling (via ERP/MRP systems), supplier management, and stock flow, helping drive cost efficiencies while ensuring on-time delivery to customers.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with Operations, Stores, Quality, and external suppliers, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on coordination and process improvement.

  • Maintain and optimise the production schedule within ERP (Epicor or similar) to meet operational and customer delivery needs
  • Coordinate subcontracted manufacturing processes, from purchase through to receipt and stock integration
  • Monitor and chase purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery and proactive communication of delays
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, including onboarding, performance management and negotiations
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and track/report savings
  • Maintain supplier scorecards and performance metrics
  • Administer RFQ processes to support sourcing and cost optimisation
  • Manage vendor returns and discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintain accurate supplier data, pricing, and compliance records (RoHS, UoM, standard costing)
  • Support inventory accuracy, resolving stock discrepancies and related issues
  • Collaborate with Stores and Operations to ensure smooth material flow into production
  • Continuously improve planning, scheduling and procurement processes
Requirements

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in roles such as:
Supply Chain Coordinator, Procurement Administrator, Production Planner, Materials Planner, Purchasing Assistant, or Supply Chain Analyst

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience in supply chain, purchasing, or production planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
  • Experience with automated ordering systems (ROL/ROQ)
  • Previous exposure to supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives
  • Experience managing subcontract manufacturing or outsourced processes
