In Supply Chain at Primark, we're ultimately responsible for getting all of our products from their origin to their final destination in-store. Because of our growing size and scale, we're truly global, with lots of opportunities worldwide to ensure fantastic customer service and incredible availability of stock. We work tirelessly to deliver efficiently, saving both time and money.

It's all about great planning and great execution. We like to be as efficient as possible, reducing resource and energy waste wherever possible. From freight management and regulation compliance to logistics and transport - our supply chain is complex. And it's always changing and expanding as we introduce new products, which means lots of interesting challenges for our problem solving teams to resolve.

We're moving products from 18 sourcing countries to over 480 stores worldwide. This means accounting for cultural differences and finding the most efficient, cost effective way for our products to travel. It's the chance to have a global footprint in a business that's high energy and high impact.

We're also making huge investments in our technology - focusing on automation to become more responsive and efficient. Our stock management platforms let customers check product availability before they head in store. And when they arrive, they're queuing less thanks to our new point of sale systems and self checkouts.

OUR BUSINESS AREAS

• Customs - Ensure we can move our stock across countries while complying with all the relevant regulatory customs organised globally. It's a big task for a fast paced international business, and we're doing it all as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
• Logistics - Responsible for keeping our depots in tip top condition. We're the largest team in Supply Chain, working in over nine buildings in six countries to deliver to over 450 stores in 17 markets. Our network drives extraordinary growth for Primark.
• Inbound - Truly global, covering transport over ocean, air, road, and rail. We're building the best foundations for today and planning to deliver growth tomorrow.
• Development - Look at what depots we need and where, and how much we invest in them. They also manage our on site project managers for a cohesive, future focused Primark development.

Our core team works closely with Tech teams to build out technical capabilities and ensures the best outcome in terms of cost to Primark and joy for the customer.

Where you'll find us

Primark's central teams are based in the UK and Ireland. But we also have on the ground teams in Bangladesh, China, Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands - so we can keep an eye out throughout our entire supply chain process.
