Make a Strategic Impact in Supply Chain Management

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Manager to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you'll support the Strategic Contract Manager in driving performance, delivering commercial value, and managing supplier risk across our Strategic Suppliers and Contractors.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of strategic supplier relationships to enhance service delivery and ensure commercial value.
  • Contribute to supply chain category reviews to identify opportunities for risk mitigation, value generation, and sustainability improvements.
  • Provide support and escalation for operational teams regarding contractor performance.
  • Oversee contract terms and performance reviews to ensure agreements remain relevant and effective.
  • Assist in tender processes and supplier negotiations for new contracts.
  • Maintain and update all subcontractor documentation, data, and reports.
  • Support procurement activities, including contractor selection, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with the HSQE team to ensure supplier compliance and environmental/social value delivery.
  • Maintain the Master Subcontractor Matrix and implement strong data controls.
  • Provide mobilisation and bid support for new contracts.
  • Deputise for the Strategic Contract Manager when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in supplier management, procurement or purchasing
  • 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • CIPS qualification preferred
  • Proven ability to manage contractor performance and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and performance analysis
  • Familiarity with FM environments and sustainable procurement practices is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse processes, spot trends, and drive improvements
  • Organised and confident in leading meetings and presentations
