The Roebuck, based in Borough, is a beautiful, Victorian pub with a large outside area and a relaxed upstairs lounge. The Roebuck is part of Parched Ltd, a small group of south London pubs which are passionate about hospitality and sustainability

Proudly serving a seasonal, locally sourced menu, The Roebuck offers a great work environment where the right individual can thrive and further develop their skills and experience in the industry.

As a small company we encourage initiative and a creative approach, therefore a supervisor with the right ideas will have a chance to influence the day-to-day running of the business and be given the opportunity to further train & progress.

What we are looking for
  • Previous experience in supervising fellow work colleagues in a hospitality setting
  • Experience in leading quieter shifts on your own, training new staff and upholding company standards
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude, great eye for detail and a good work ethic
  • An individual with great personality whom customers can recognise as being knowledgeable & "in charge"
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Right to work in the UK & fluent English
What we can offer
  • Hourly rate based on previous experience from a minimum of £13.50/hour
  • Career progression opportunities
  • A fantastic and casual work environment with lovely colleagues and customers. No uniforms required, we encourage staff to express themselves and their personality
  • On and off site development training/qualifications
  • 28 days holiday
  • Free staff meal on shift and staff discount at all Parched Pubs in London
  • CODE app membership giving 20-50% discounts at all of our company's pubs plus plenty more bars/restaurants in London. T&Cs apply.

We are committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce and to promote gender equality within our team. We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging women, ethnic minorities and members of the LGBTQ+ community to join us.
