Supervisor 30 Hours

We're opening a brand-newstore in Junction 32 Shopping Village, Castlefordand we want you to be a part of it!

As a Supervisor in Junction 32 Shopping Village, Castleford,you will be part of the store management team, supporting them in the daily running of the store, directing the team anddemonstrating what you're all about when running the store independently, including Sundays, covering days off and holidays.

Every day is different, and we'll be honest, you will be on your feet for most of the time! Whether that be receiving deliveries, merchandising, providing excellent customer service or using your toy expertise to recommend the perfect product - this job is demanding!

You will have the opportunity to make a real difference with your colleagues too, playing an important role in coaching and motivating the team to help them achieve the best they can in both their personal development and helping the store deliver exceptional store standards and customer service.

As a 30hour Supervisor, your responsibilities will include

• Opening and closing the store, running the store successfully in the absence of the Store managementincluding Sunday openings on a rota basis
• Organising and supervising of daily tasks
• Demonstrating an exceptional customer service experience, inspiring your team to do the same
• Maintaining stock areas, controlling faulty goods and handling deliveries

What we will need from you

• Have a flexible approach to working hours and a commitment to help us resource the store effectively
• Be enthusiastic about your retail career having had valuable supervisory experience or gained extra responsibilities in a Sales Assistant role within a fast paced retail environment.
• Be tech savvy, showing confidence in using computers and tablets to complete tasks and increase productivity
• Have the ability to identify sales opportunities and implement new ideas, showcasing your creative and commercial flair
