With over 20 years experience, National Fostering Group is the largest independent children's fostering group in the UK with a community of over 2,500 foster carers.

About the Role

The Family Centre Manager will deliver and sustain a high-quality family time service that meets the individual needs of children and their families. The role will ensure that children's family time experiences are safeguarded and promoted, while also providing support to carers and young people to help strengthen placement stability.

Through professional practice, communication and conduct, the postholder will actively promote Heath Farm as a trusted and high-quality resource for Looked After Children.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient individual with proven experience working directly with children, young people and families in a safeguarding or support setting. You will bring strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, alongside an understanding of the needs and rights of Looked After Children.

Skilled in supervising or coordinating staff and volunteers, you will also have experience of working in partnership with local authorities, social workers and carers. Excellent organisational, communication and report-writing skills are essential, as is the ability to assess and manage risk in a family time context.

You will be confident using IT systems, be calm under pressure and be flexible to work evenings and weekends when required. A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Children & Young People, or a related field, together with evidence of ongoing professional development, is required.
