Working in the UK Student Recruitment & Outreach team, this role will involve three main activities:
1. Delivering strategic, regionally based outreach, recruitment, and conversion activities within Berkshire, targeting prospective students from under-represented groups.
2. Leading project-based activities to support Year 13 students, including developing online resources and organizing in-person events.
3. Collaborating with the Henley Business School to support widening participation and undergraduate recruitment through subject-based activities.

The role requires working independently, managing projects, and representing the University to potential students, parents, and teachers. Building strong networks with schools and colleges is essential.

You will have:
• Experience working in a UK post-16 setting in student recruitment or outreach
• Experience delivering presentations in person and online
• Understanding of the widening participation agenda in higher education
• Knowledge of the UK Higher Education system and recruitment cycle
• Event organization experience
• Stakeholder relationship skills

The role is based in Reading, with some travel to UCAS or third-party fairs.

Safeguarding Requirements and Responsibilities:
• Complete safeguarding training and follow the University's policies
• Consider safeguarding in event risk assessments
• Report concerns using the Safeguarding Incident Form

An Enhanced DBS with a child barred list check is required. This position is regulated activity and exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
