Hult International Business School is seeking a passionate and proactiveStudent Life Coordinatorto join the Student Life team. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact the student experience by organizing and supporting co-curricular activities, student clubs, milestone events, and engagement initiatives both in-person and virtually. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, international environment where creativity, collaboration, and service excellence are central to the mission.
Role Description
As a Student Life Coordinator, you will be a key contributor to the Hult student experience by positively influencing student satisfaction, co-curricular learning, and wellbeing. You will work closely with Head of Student Life to deliver engaging student programming and services with the aim to foster an inclusive community. This includes planning and executing events, managing communications, supporting student clubs and societies, and mentoring student leaders. The role requires flexibility, with some evening and weekend work necessary to support all aspects of student life.
Responsibilities
Student Engagement and Events
- Plan and deliver co-curricular events and milestone activities, such as orientation, Hult Prize, cultural and end-of-term celebrations, rotation, and graduation, ensuring high levels of student engagement and satisfaction.
- Create and distribute promotional materials, including posters, banners, and digital content
- Manage budgets, attendance tracking, capture event media, and oversee post-event documentation and content archiving.
Clubs and Societies
- Review and manage club operating policies, new club approvals, maintain accurate club and leadership data, and manage budget processes and data inputs.
- Coordinate club fairs, leadership training sessions, and ongoing support for club presidents and board members.
- Oversee club event planning, budget submissions, payment processing, and vendor coordination in collaboration with the Head of Student Life.
Hult Student Association (HSA)
- Organize and manage the HSA election process, including information sessions, application reviews, and public announcements.
- Mentor elected HSA representatives, supporting their leadership development and collaboration on student-led events.
- Plan and facilitate HSA onboarding, team-building activities, and end-of-year recognition events.
Communications and Social Media
- Manage student life communications across internal platforms ensuring content is accurate and engaging.
- Collaborate with the Head of Student Life to develop and schedule social media content that promotes events and student initiatives.
- Monitor engagement metrics and adapt communication strategies to maximize student reach and engagement.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in student services, student support, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel - including pivot tables and formulas).
- Familiarity with Canva and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong presentation and facilitation skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Data management and budgeting skills.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships with diverse student populations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive with a positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
Team-oriented with a collaborative and collegial approach.
This role does require applicants to hold Work Authorization in the UK.
