We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with a focus on jacket design for offshore platforms. This role is central to the successful execution of complex offshore energy projects, where you will be responsible for the structural integrity of the jacket - the substructure supporting topsides in fixed offshore installations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Structural Engineer - Jacket Design, you will:

  • Develop and analyse jacket structures including legs, braces, and piles used for fixed offshore platforms
  • Perform structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., SACS, SESAM, or equivalent)
  • Create detailed design documentation for fabrication and installation of jacket structures
  • Ensure designs meet relevant offshore structural standards and certification body requirements
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams including geotechnical, hydrodynamic, and topside specialists
  • Participate in design reviews and interface meetings with clients, classification societies, and project stakeholders
  • Support tender documentation, cost estimates, and project scheduling for structural scopes

Your Profile

You bring strong technical expertise in offshore structural engineering and thrive in a multidisciplinary project environment. Specifically, you have:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in offshore jacket design, ideally within oil & gas or offshore wind
  • Proficiency in structural analysis tools
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards
  • Experience with fatigue, strength, and buckling calculations for jacket structures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in project teams
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

The environment is professional yet welcoming, with a team-oriented culture enhanced by various social events such as international sports championships, themed New Year celebrations, and casual summer barbecues.
