Responsibilities

• Apply finite element analysis and stress testing to gas turbine rotating parts and structural components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure components meet technical and functional standards.
• Contribute to the development and validation of modelling approaches for fatigue, damage tolerance, and fracture mechanics.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in 2D/3D stress analysis and component life analysis.
• Proficiency with meshing and analysis tools: ANSYS Mechanical APDL or Workbench, Hypermesh or UG NX for meshing, and CAD tools like UG NX.
• Knowledge of fatigue, damage tolerance, and fracture mechanics.
• Experience with gas turbine rotating parts and structural components.
