About The RoleThe hyperexponential Pricing & Innovation team helps customers achieve excellence in pricing transformation through their use of hx Renew, our market-leading SaaS pricing platform. We explore underwriter workflows, pricing tool deployment, systems architecture and governance approaches - defining what "best in class" looks like and helping customers realise the greatest value from transformation.
Our ambition is to build next-generation, AI-native pricing and underwriting platforms by combining advanced technology with a deep understanding of the Specialty and Reinsurance markets. By the market, for the market.
As a Strategy Consultant, you'll play a key role in refining and delivering the value proposition for hx Renew across strategic, US and international accounts. You'll run discovery with underwriters, actuaries, IT and executives to understand workflows, quantify pain points, and show the measurable impact of transformation. Along the way, you'll feed insights back into sales, product and marketing, helping us refine and scale how we deliver value.
What You'll Be DoingRun value consulting workshops focused on pricing capability assessment and transformation.
Engage a wide range of stakeholders, from junior underwriters to CUOs and CTOs.
Build strong internal partnerships with Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams.
Aggregate data to develop industry insights and benchmarks for customers and the wider market.
Collaborate across hx to ensure insights fuel ongoing customer engagements, lead generation, and product strategy.
Continuously refine processes, using AI and other tools to improve efficiency and impact.
Gained experience in (re)insurance, broking, consulting, or a related field, with exposure to transformation and pricing engagements.
Taken ownership of workstreams in a project team to ensure successful delivery.
Run discovery workshops with a range of stakeholders, including C-Suite.
Built professional assets and presented confidently to senior executives.
Demonstrated excellent communication and people skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
You prefer following established playbooks rather than building new approaches in ambiguous or open-ended situations.
You're hesitant to engage with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leaders, or to collaborate closely across teams.
You're uncomfortable experimenting, iterating, and adapting quickly in a fast-changing environment.
