Stores Person - NORCO Composites & GRP Skip to content Divisions Sectors Capabilities Projects News Standards Careers Contact THE ROLE: £12.76-£14.60/hour DOE The Stores Person is a critical role within the business and will become a key member of our manufacturing team with a wide range of duties supporting the purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure that stock is correctly received and allocated across the site. This position reports to the Purchasing Manager. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for goods in ensuring that deliveries are accurately received, checked, labelled and recorded on Progress Plus. Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies. Must have a high level of knowledge with Progress Plus processes to maintain accurate stock control, allocations, and issuing of materials to Production Unloading and loading deliveries and internal distribution of goods. Supporting month end activity, including stock checks. Stock rotation. Implementing or improving processes and procedures. Highlighting material shortages KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Experience of working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. MS Office. Work well independently but also as a team. Working in adherence with Health and Safety rules. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks. Good team player and excellent communicator. Familiarity with inventory management systems. DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Forklift Licence.
