Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for 2 Stores Operator for a leading Electrical Cable Assembler based in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Role: Store Operator

Job term: Ongoing work with temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate

Location: Newcastle Under Lyme, ST5

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-12:30pm

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Job description

A great opportunity to work for a global technical production company based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. The ideal candidate will need to be a good communicator and interested in progressing in a busy stores department.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate care and attention to handle stocks and assets throughout the whole supply chain process
• Ensure parts are picked off the shelf and kitted using FIFO
• Check incoming goods and book material onto computer system
• Pack products for despatch in line with packaging procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Required Experience and Qualifications

PC literate, good communication skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions from colleagues. Full valid UK driving licence required. Previous experience in warehouses and stock management preferred. GCSEs in maths and English required.
