At Marcliffe, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional luxury hospitality experience. We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Storeperson to support our kitchen and stores operations. This role is essential in ensuring all goods are received, stored, and distributed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and organisation.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Receive and check all deliveries professionally, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with supplier specifications

  • Store goods correctly, following strict FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation principles

  • Prepare and deliver kitchen requisitions promptly to support smooth daily operations

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene across all storage areas

  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Executive Chef

  • Assist with stock takes and inventory management, ensuring accuracy at all times

  • Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with kitchen staff and suppliers

  • Support sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and responsible disposal

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, fine dining, or luxury hospitality environment preferred

  • Good understanding of food hygiene and safe storage practices

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock

  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
