  • £10.90 - £13.14 per hour

As Stores personnel at Royal Stoke Hospital, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the daily experiences of patients, visitors, and staff. You will assist in the receipt and delivery related to catering stores activities, ensuring that all designated areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic manner.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist in receipt for all goods received, checking quality and quantity
  • Ensure all delivery notes are processed promptly in accordance with procedures
  • Maintain delivery schedules to all areas, including patient meals to outer buildings
  • Place orders with approved suppliers
  • Ensure stock levels are controlled and rotation procedures are maintained
  • Maintain standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the storeroom
What You Bring:
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Average level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic food hygiene
  • PC skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Physically able to undertake manual work i.e. lifting and moving stores, handling equipment, and walking around the site
