Job Description
Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri

- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and recording of all incoming deliveries, and prepare and dispatch goods based on internal requests, coordinating with transport companies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the stores management system, conduct regular stock audits, and report any discrepancies or potential supply shortages to the supervisor.
- Ensure a safe and organised storage environment by managing racking, adhering to safe lifting and manual handling procedures, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly planning for stock and equipment movements to ensure the operational team's needs are met, including responding to ad-hoc requests.
- Handle all administrative tasks related to goods movement, including managing delivery paperwork, COSHH certificates, and ensuring all records are accurately updated in the system.
- Collaborate with the Parts Supervisor, engineers, and service coordinators to communicate stock requirements, delivery status, and report any health, safety, or environmental concerns.
- Previous experience in stores, logistics, or warehouse operations or experience with goods receipt, storage, and dispatch procedures in a similar operational environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Forklift or mechanical handling equipment certification would be desirable.
- COSHH training certificate would be desirable.
- First Aid at Work certification would be desirable.
