OVERVIEW

A brilliantopportunity to join Uber Boat by Thames Clippers (UBTC) at a time of significant growth .

UBTC was founded in1999, initially operating a one boat service from South East to Central London.Today UBTC has a fleet of 21 vessels, serves 24 piers and carries over 4.6million passengers, providing a unique transport offering to London's commutersand visitors, connecting them to their homes, places of work and river-sideattractions, in an environment that is unmatched by any other form of Londontransport. UBTC operates the only commuter service on the Thames and occupies adistinct market position for tourist and visitor experiences by linking themajority of riverside attractions. This unique offering extends to privatecharters and UBTC's portfolio will deliver sustained expansion both to the Eastand West London, with a target to grow to 9m annual passengers by 2030. Thebusiness is now also moving into light freight logistics which plans to relieveLondon's congested road network within the next 3 years.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish an effective stock management process inorder to track all materials, consumables and equipment.
• Establish and maintain an asset register.
• Coordinate all deliveries into the business.
• Inventory control management - track goods inwardsand outwards
• Administer and manage Sum up - stock control system
• ImplementStocktake routine.
• Support the department with all the routineadministration and ensure the efficient running of the stores department.
• Ensure assets (portable equipment) is maintained,repaired and replaced as required.
• Support Managers as required for management ofproduct/equipment ordering.
• Ensure safety of stock
• Ensure storage area are kept clean, organised, andcompliant with health and safety regulation.
• Report any stock discrepancies, damaged goods, orshortages to the supervisor promptly.

BAUREQUIREMENTS

• Act as role model and champion of our company values,assisting the operation to integrate them into local processes and literature
• Assist in developing and maintaining effective teamworkacross our diverse business
• Ensure that all relevant information is communicatedspeedily and accurately in a way that ensures that the information is receivedand easily understood
• Ensure that all materials and resources are effectivelyand efficiently utilized to minimize waste and reduce costs
• Attendevents to showcase Uber Boats by Thames Clippers as an employer of choice andbuild and manage talent pipeline of potential candidates
• Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonablerequests as requested by a member of the senior management team

WorkingConditions

• Workmay involve lifting and moving stock items.
• Workis primarily based in storage and stock management areas.
• Mayinvolve early morning deliveries or flexible hours depending on operationalneeds.

KEYSKILLS:

• Previousstock control / management experience including an understanding of COSHH
• Positivewith a "can do" attitude
• Abilityto take a flexible approach in the working environment
• Teamplayer who enjoys working in a high achieving environment and also capableofworking autonomously.

• Previousrelevant experience within a transport / marine industry
