Store Manager

Job Overview

Store Manager - Express Retail at Asda Express, Hull, Savoy Road. Permanent, full time, 45 hours per week, working days with weekends, evenings and occasional late nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to drive sales, set standards and deliver Key Result Areas (KRAs).
• Motivate staff, maintain morale and create an operation that keeps customers returning.
• Support Asda's pricing strategy and keep costs low.
• Manage rota planning, holiday scheduling and handle management issues such as disciplinary matters and grievances.
• Operate within a rolling rota including weekends, evenings and occasional late nights.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working in a fast paced retail environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• People focused, friendly and proactive in delivering results.
• Adaptable to change and able to handle disciplinary and grievance situations professionally.
