THE ROLELEGGWORK are recruiting a Stone Mason for a heritage construction contractor working in Icomb, Gloucestershire. This role is more hands-on than highly technical and will involve knocking through openings, blockwork, and general stonework on a heritage project.
Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Carry out general stone masonry works
- Knock through openings safely and accurately
- Complete blockwork to a high standard
- Assist with heritage stonework and restoration tasks
- Work from site instructions and drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
- Previous experience as a Stone Mason or skilled Mason
- Experience with blockwork and general stonework
- Heritage construction experience is desirable
- Own tools and PPE
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
