MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assume full responsibility for the stockroom to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the store's commercial success

  • Implement and enforce company rules and procedures for maintaining a well-organized and efficient stockroom

  • Make informed decisions that align with store turnover, considering customer profiles and commercial goals

  • Monitor and analyse stockroom performance, proposing improvements and addressing concerns as needed

  • Allocate resources effectively to drive productivity in the stockroom

  • Collaborate with senior management and the visual merchandising team to maintain a trend-focused and brand-relevant stockroom

  • Lead recruitment, induction, training, and development of stockroom team members, ensuring adherence to HR policies

  • Report directly to Store Manager to manage loss prevention effectively

  • Provide feedback on operational performance and suggest improvements during regular catch-ups with senior management

  • Collaborate with external business partners to ensure a safe and compliant working environment

  • Part of the senior team to carry store responsibilities such open/close, store emergency evacuation and any others duties required by the management team.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Team Player

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management position , preferably within a retail stockroom

  • Ability to lead and coach a team

  • Knowledge of retail KPIs

  • Previous experience in retail desirable

  • Demonstrate customer service skills

  • A passion for retail operations

  • Desire to learn

  • Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processes

  • Understanding of POS register systems

  • Effective communication skills

  • Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
