Job Title: Stock Team Operative

Location: Heywood, Greater Manchester

About the Role

We are currently seeking Stock Team Operatives to support a busy warehouse operation in Heywood. This role focuses on stock replenishment and inventory accuracy. It does not involve rework or forklift truck use, and all tasks are carried out manually with handheld scanners.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenishing and organising stock across warehouse zones
• Using handheld scanners for inventory tracking
• Ensuring stock accuracy and timely updates
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Must be punctual, reliable, and available to work weekends during peak season
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours

Standard Hours (Outside Peak):

• Monday to Friday: 08:15 - 17:15
• Arrival time on Day 1: 08:00
• Breaks: 1 hour unpaid (either 15 mins AM + 45 mins lunch or a full 1-hour lunch)

Peak Period (November - January):

• Operation runs 7 days a week
• Weekend work is mandatory
• Shift Patterns:
  • Weekdays: 11:00 - 20:00
  • Weekends: 08:00 - 17:00
• Staff working weekends receive 2 days off during the week
• No holidays permitted in November or December due to business demand
