Job Description
About The Role

Join us here at Poundland & Dealz as a Stock Control Clerk, based at our Wigan Distribution Centre.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of stock across our distribution centre, helping to keep products moving efficiently through our operation and into our stores. Working closely with warehouse, logistics and supply chain teams, you'll help maintain accurate inventory records, investigate stock discrepancies and support the smooth running of our stock control processes.

Shift Pattern
  • Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Monday - 19:00 - 07:00
  • Week 2: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 19:00 - 07:00
Responsibilities
  • Monitor stock levels, carry out stock counts and cycle counts, investigate variances and maintain accurate records using our warehouse management systems.
  • Support goods in and goods out processes, ensure stock is stored safely and correctly, generate stock reports, and assist with audits and compliance activities.
  • Analyze data and collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and support operational performance across the site.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration or logistics environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced distribution environment.
