Stephens Bakery - Dayshift Bakery Operative - 39 Hours, Full Time

Step into the heart of our award-winning bakery and help craft the pies, pastries, and savoury treats our customers love. As a Bakery Operative you'll play a key role in producing top-quality products while upholding the highest standards of food safety, quality, hygiene, and health & safety.

What You'll Do

• Work safely and efficiently, following all company policies, procedures and legislation
• Keep our large pie production line running smoothly
• Fill, lid, and glaze our products to perfection
• Maintain a spotless work area with top-tier hygiene and sanitation
• Bread Roll Production
• Pastry Production
• Chaffing Dough
• Cleaning Tins
• Add the all-important hand finished touches that make our products stand out

What You'll Bring

Experience in a bakery environment is a bonus - but not essential. We'll give you all the training you need to rise to the occasion.

Hours and Pay

• Hours: 39 per week, 5 days out of 7 (Monday-Sunday)
• Start Time: from 6am
• Pay: £12.74 per hour (increasing to £12.94 after successful probation period)
