Station Cleaning Operative

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of washrooms, communal areas & floor space
• Cleaning of office spaces, staff areas, stair wells & car parks
• Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping & damp wiping
• Litter picking, litter collection, emptying of bins & disposal
• Sanitisation of touch points
• Use of cleaning equipment both handheld and ride on
• Reporting of any equipment faults and health and safety concerns
• Adhere to all health & safety guidelines
• Attend relevant health & safety training
• Attend all training deemed necessary to perform this role
• Other cleaning duties that may be required from time to time

• Right to work in the UK
• Can do, happy to help attitude
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Flexible with working hours and days
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads
• Good communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience working in cleaning
• Previous experience of working with cleaning machinery (ride on / handheld)
• Previous experience of working the public
• Passing GCSE grades (or equivalent) in English, Maths
