The Static Cleaning Operative will maintain cleanliness standards across designated sites in Liverpool. This part time, permanent position offers a salary of £7,081.08 per annum (equivalent to £26,200 Full Time Equivalent) and an hourly rate of £13.62. Working hours are 10 hours per week, typically from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional adjustments or out of hours work may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled general cleaning duties at residential schemes, blocks of flats and communal areas, following the operational cleaning specification and scheduling.
- Vacuum, mop, wipe, dust, clean internal window frames and sills, empty communal bins and bin areas, ensuring areas are safe and appropriately signed off.
- Carry out ad hoc cleaning tasks and use internal software to record work.
- Remove discarded syringes and needles and clean hazardous substances when trained to do so.
- Order and restock cleaning supplies and sundries as required.
- Carry out COSHH compliant handling of cleaning materials and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Perform health and safety compliance checks including water flushing, temperature checks, fire alarm testing, and daily equipment checks.
- Report repairs and perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
- Attend training courses and seminars as requested.
- Experience delivering cleaning services to a variety of customers.
- Knowledge of hygiene regulations and COSHH.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to cover and work in different areas within agreed parameters.
- Use of electronic equipment (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
- Hygiene Certificate or BICS qualification.
