Stage Door Keeper (casual, part time)

Oxford Playhouse is looking for new members of our Stage Door team, to help us deliver a welcoming, customer service-driven operation.

Stage Door is our back-of-house entrance and reception, used by performers, technical crew and theatre staff. As the Stage Door Keeper on shift, you help us provide a warm welcome and excellent experience for artists and crew using the Oxford Playhouse stage, acting as the key custodian for information, services and safety during their visit.

We are looking for new team members to join us on a casual basis. Shifts typically fall between 3pm and 11pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12 midnight Saturday, with occasional Sunday or bank holidays, subject to our programme.

• Experience in a customer service, reception, facilities, security or other similar role.
• Diligent, reliable and able to follow detailed safety and security procedures.
• Ability to deliver excellent standards of customer service.
• A proven ability to handle demanding situations in a calm and confident manner.
• Punctual and available for shifts within our opening hours (predominantly evenings and weekends).
• High standards of personal presentation.
