To work within a team ensuring all patients receive timely and appropriate care, ensuring utilisation of Allied Health Professionals support and guidance to promote a safe and timely discharge.

Main duties
  • Providing patient care and ensuring all activities of daily living are maintained whilst ensuring the patient receives safe and appropriate care.
  • Linking with all AHPs ensuring the patient receives timely and appropriate.
  • Ensuring the patient receives their prescribed medications at the correct time.
  • Participating in a research and audit completion.
  • Ensuring all knowledge is recorded and up to date via the Trust system.

Job responsibilities

  • Providing patient care and ensuring all activities of daily living are maintained whilst ensuring the patient receives safe and appropriate care.
  • Linking with all AHPs ensuring the patient receives timely and appropriate.
  • Ensuring the patient receives their prescribed medications at the correct time.
  • Participating in a research and audit completion.
  • Ensuring all knowledge is recorded and up to date via the Trust system.
  • Answerable to Ward Manager and Matron.
Person Specification Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (1st or 2nd Level)
  • Willingness to undertake teaching and assessing qualification
  • Willingness to undertake conversion course to Part 1 of the NMC register
  • Diploma/willingness to undertake Diploma
  • Teaching & assessing qualification
Experience
  • Ability to teach peers within clinical area
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Experience of team and ward management
