Staff Nurse

We are hiring a Staff Nurse for our Nursing Home in Co Mayo. This job is for someone wanting to join a busy, well-established nursing home group.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of residents.
• Foster a compassionate and respectful environment that supports residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
• Offer clinical guidance, supervision, and leadership to care staff.
• Promote independence while ensuring dignity and respect in all care practices.
• Assist with inspections and audits to uphold and improve care standards.
• Take on the role of Nurse in Charge when required, ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Third-level Nursing qualification
• Registered with An Bord Altranais (valid PIN)
• Relevant certifications or willingness to obtain (Infection Control, CPR, etc.)
• Strong commitment to quality patient care
• Nursing home experience preferred
• Must hold an active Nursing PIN
• For non-EEA candidates: must have a Stamp 4/Spouse or be an EU/EEA citizen
