We are hiring a Staff Nurse - Pre Assessment Clinic for a Hospital in South Dublin, Ireland.

Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Accurately collect, analyse, and interpret patient data to support clinical decision-making
• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with current standards, policies, and NMBI guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments safely, ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements
• Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation, including use of electronic systems
• Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, adhering to infection prevention and control policies
• Respond effectively to emergencies, manage changing workloads, and work with minimal supervision
• Participate in quality improvement, incident reporting, team collaboration, and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Registered with the NMBI's general division
• Have worked as a full-time or equivalent part-time nurse in an acute hospital setting for at least two years after becoming a registered nurse, with one year spent in a surgical setting.
• Maintain a current Basic Life Support course.
