Staff Nurse - Pre Assesment

Staff Nurse - Pre Assessment Haywards Heath Hospital Pre-Assessment Permanent Full time. Salary up to £33,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. 37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
• As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
• Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
• Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital opened in 1993 and is close to the centre of Haywards Heath. We provide a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. With three operating theatres (one laminar flow), comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an onsite pre-assessment clinic, a physiotherapy department and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward. Job responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you'll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

Person Specification Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC) with post-registration experience
