MPA Ballymena are currently recruiting Registered Staff Nurses to join our growing Healthcare team supporting Care Homes across the Antrim area.

The Role

• Deliver high quality nursing care in line with individual care plans
• Create a caring, supportive and safe environment for residents
• Encourage and promote independence wherever possible
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care needs
• Maintain accurate and up to date clinical records
• Administer medication and treatments in accordance with NMC guidelines
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Support and supervise care staff where appropriate
• Ensure all policies, procedures and standards are followed

What We're Looking For

• Qualified RGN or SEN
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate and patient centred approach to care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high standards of care

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working within a Care Home or Hospital setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff
• Experience working within elderly care settings
