Oak House providesrehabilitation and recovery services for adults with complex and enduringmental health difficulties. Oak House has a supportive and motivatedmulti-disciplinary team that take pride in ensuring that patients have apositive experience during their admission. Being part of our experienced teamwould allow you the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills to support patientsto develop their skills and confidence in activities of daily living andaccessing community activities. You will receive access to comprehensivetraining and educational courses. We will provide you with resources to developa long term career, continual professional development, and a range of support.
You will be required to work Part time 8 x 11.5 hrs shifts over a 4 week periodincluding; working days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the jobYourduties will include:
- Clinical handover from outgoing shift.
- Allocation and planning of patient care and therapeutic activities.
- Ensuring all activities of daily living are supported in a person centred way focussing on independence and wellbeing.
- Medication administration.
- Ensuring the Mental Health Act is correctly applied.
- Supervision of junior colleagues including health care assistants and student nurses

Person Specification Qualifications- RN Mental Health, RN (Adult) or RNLD
- Registered on the NMC register
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
- Where the post holder is on or above the 2nd KSF gateway they will support the Clinical Coordinator role, as described as exceptional circumstances in the job description

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats
- Sound clinical skills
- Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care
