Own the technical evolution of a frontier biochemistry search platform. You will architect robust cloud infrastructure, design greenfield database systems for ML training, and transition internal tools into production ready external services. What you will do

• Build and evolve Horizyn as a service into a production ready product, including API enhancements, security hardening, and deployment automation.
• Design and implement a scalable database system integrating structured biochemical data from KEGG and UniProt with unstructured experimental results.
• Manage multi account AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform while migrating legacy GCP systems to a unified production environment.

The ideal candidate

• Has 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of owning complex distributed systems end to end.
• Possesses deep expertise in Python, Docker containerization, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform within AWS or GCP environments.
• Brings experience in ML infrastructure, such as model serving, GPU compute orchestration, or building specialized data pipelines for research teams.
